Das Modem DM700 ermöglicht die Fernauslesung
von Zählern mit serieller Schnittstelle über LAN/WANNetzwerke.
Die im Zähler gespeicherten Daten (z.B.
Register und Lastprofile) werden über die
verschiedenen Schnittstellen datentransparent
übertragen. Mit dem Transparentmodus können z.B.
auch Registrier-Geräte ausgelesen werden.
Zusätzlich ist im Modem ein statistischer Lastgang für
drei Kanäle (gebildet über Impulseingänge) nutzbar.
