The Model 58TF 58mm thru-bore encoder offers the performance advantages of the programmable Model 58TP, but in an economical, fixed resolution version. Specifically designed for the challenges of an industrial environment, its advanced set of electronics allow the encoder to be factory-programmed to meet your exact application needs. The versatile Model 58TF offers 6 output types, 32 different waveforms, and any resolution from 1 to 65,536 PPR (that’s 262,144 counts in full quadrature). This allows a single encoder to be configured for multiple applications. This encoder is also highly mechanically configurable, offering thru-bore or hollow bore options, standard and metric bore sizes up to 5/8” and 15 mm, multiple flex mount options, and a variety of connector types. This flexibility allows one encoder to replace many different part numbers, providing significant cost savings on inventory and downtime replacement costs.
